Welcome to the Chicago Deaf and Hard of Hearing Cultural Center (CDHHCC)! Our mission is to empower the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community by creating a space for cultural, social and recreational opportunities.

Currently, our major project is planning a capital campaign to raise funds for a physical location that will provide a home for cultural activities for the grassroots Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. In addition, we have coordinated some cultural programming, such as the CDHHCC Windy City Deaf Idol Show.

As part of our mission, we encourage the general public to recognize, respect and celebrate Deaf culture and the Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blind and Late Deafened experience. We want to build a solid foundation for collaboration and mutual respect among our various experiences.
